MENASHA, Wis–The opening of the new Racine Street Bridge in downtown Menasha is delayed….again. The D-O-T says inclement weather this fall and winter have pushed back the anticipated reopening date to mid-January.
When reconstruction of the draw bridge began in 2020, the expected opening date was September of this year. That was pushed back to December due to supply chain issues.
The roundabouts at both ends of the new bridge opened to traffic in September.
