A 12-year-old boy from Massachusetts just reeled in the all-time topper of fish tales… a Great White Shark.
Campbell Keenan was visiting Fort Lauderdale with his family, was aboard a charter fishing boat off the coast of the Florida when he hooked something big.
How Big? How about a 450lb great white shark, big?
Campbell’s mother Colleen told WSVN-TV, “We had to hold onto him. We had to make sure he wasn’t going to go off the boat.”
It took 45 minutes to catch the shark and was released after the boat captain tagged it so it could be tracked by researchers.
To date, Campbell said it was his biggest-ever catch.
