Mad mash up genius Bill McClintock has created another blending of two dispirit songs that highlight his amazing skills as well as make a case for why he should probably burn in hell. This mash-up is the unholy matrimony of the 1978 disco hit Shake Your Groove Thing by Herb Frame and his third Peaches, collectively known as Peaches and Herb, and the Vince Neil inspired Aerosmith song Dude Looks Like a Lady.
True confession: I have been on this planet over six decades and I still don’t know what part of my body is my “groove thing”. Growing up, my parents didn’t have a lot of money. Perhaps they could never afford to get me one. Or, perhaps shaking your groove thing in 1970s Menasha was so deeply frowned upon my parents got me a frisbee instead.
