Lonesome George Thorogood had to pull out of his current tour and is undergoing treatment for an undisclosed “serious” medical condition. The information we know is that George will undergo surgery and will need a few weeks to recover, but all signs indicate that he will be OK. George who is 73 also lost his wife of 34 years in 2019. “George has been diagnosed with a very serious medical condition that will require immediate surgery and quite a few weeks of recouperation and healing. You, our fans, mean the world to us, and we know this news is not want you wanted to hear, but rest assured George Thorogood & The Destroyers will be back. We’ll keep you updated as we know more.”
