GREEN BAY, Wis–The trial of a Green Bay woman accused of killing and dismembering a man will remain in Brown County. A judge denies a change of venue request from the attorney for Taylor Schabusiness, ruling that an impartial jury can still be found in the Green Bay area.
Schabusiness is accused of strangling Shad Thyrion, cutting up his body, and hiding the pieces in the basement of his mother’s home back in February of last year. Her trial is scheduled to start on July 24th. She would face life in prison if convicted.
