TOWN OF ATHELSTANE, Wis. — The body of a man missing since Jan. 13 is found in a wooded area of Marinette County.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office was contacted around 2:30 p.m. Saturday by two people who found a body in the Town of Athelstane. Law enforcement officers had been searching around that area just before the body was found.
The victim is identified as Theodore Egge. Sheriff Randy Miller says foul play is not suspected in Egge’s death, though the case remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Marinette County Medical Examiner.
