OSHKOSH, Wis–Oshkosh Police use less-than-lethal force to disarm a man threatening people with an axe. Officers were called to the 100-block of Washington Avenue around 10:15 this (Thursday) morning on the report of a man wielding a pick axe and yelling that he wanted to kill someone.
After the man refused orders to drop the axe, officers used less lethal munitions to disable him and take him into custody. Criminal charges are pending. No one was hurt.
