To celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Godfather both Slash and Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge and Creed have recorded versions of the classic “Speak Softly Love” for a pinball machine.
Both versions of the theme play during the game. Slash’s is an instrumental take that fans who’ve seen GNR over the past few years will be familiar with. And Tremonti did a vocal version inspired by the 1972 Andy Williamshit.
A limited edition 45 of both versions sold out instantly when it was announced, with proceeds going to the National Down Syndrome Society. But fans can enter to win a machine through Tremonti’s charity website.
The game is on sale now through Jersey Jack Pinball and it doesn’t come cheap a machine costs around $12,000.
Mark put out a behind-the-scenes video you can check out now.
