We are proud to name as this week’s rick and Cutter Show Weenie of the Week… 57-year-old Bruce Polczynski of Minocqua who was sentenced this past week following his conviction for bankruptcy fraud. According to a U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, Polczynski admitted that he hid his 1969 replica of the “General Lee”; the Dodge Charger from the TV show The Dukes of Hazzard, to avoid having it seized to pay creditors.
Polczynski also admitted to hiding his 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, which is similar to the one used the movie Smokey and the Bandit 2.
A Chief U.S. District Judge sentenced Polczynski to three years of probation and a $1,000 fine.
So,
For attempting to make his way the only way he knew how but learning the hard way that “that’s just a little bit more than the law will allow”.
For narrowly avoiding getting stuck in prison when he’s clearly already stuck in the 70’s.
And for not realizing that hiding his ’69 Dodge Charger from the bankruptcy court is General Lee not accepted. [rim shot]
We are proud to name Bruce Polczynski, devious and deceptive Duke car defrauder of Minocqua as this week’s Rick and Cutter Show…WEENIE OF THE WEEK!
