Alice Cooper will be releasing a new album called Road on August 25th and has been teasing us with a couple of new songs. The latest is called “White Line Frankenstein” a song about a monster of the road, a truck driver who just lives there. Here’s what Mr. Cooper had to say.
“It’s a truck driver who’s been out there a long time. He’s the king of the road. He doesn’t live in a house. He lives in that truck. In the song, this surreal tough guy is driving on white lines for his whole life. So, ‘White Line Frankenstein’ would be his CB handle. It’s monstrous and definitely a stage song.”
The song features Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello who’s distinct style really fits in well with Alice’s ability to tell a story within a song. You can see the lyric video below and don’t forget you can hear Alice Cooper every Sunday night on WAPL during his radio show, Nights with Alice Cooper.
