TOWN OF BYRON, Wis. — A person is dead following a drowning incident in Fond du Lac County.
Dispatchers received a 911 call around 5:50 p.m. Thursday reporting a male was trapped underneath an inflatable floating dock in a swimming pond at Breezy Hill Campground in the town of Byron.
Crews pulled the victim from the water about 35 minutes later. He was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac and was later pronounced dead.
His name and age have not been released.
