This week is the anniversary of Jimi Hendrix’s untimely passing at the age of 27 on September 18, 1970, yet here we are 53 years later and we’re still getting new, unearthed recordings from the guitar legend. Recorded in 1967 just five days before the release of his debut album Are You Experienced Jimi Hendrix and the Experience played a show at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles opening for The Mamas & The Papas right after being kicked off a tour opening for the Monkees. The show was recorded and not one not of it has ever been released publicly. That’s changing on November 10th when you’ll be able to once again experience Jim Hendrix in all his live glory with Jimi Hendrix Experience: Hollywood Bowl on August 18th, 1967. It’ll be available on all formats including CD, Vinyl, and Digitally. Here’s the track listing,
