Jack Black brought some major “School of Rock” vibes to the 100th birthday celebration of Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello’s mom Mary.
He performed a cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mr. Crowley” with a band of 12 and 13-year-olds, including Tom’s son Roman on guitar.
Roman even went full Hendrix toward the end of the song, playing the guitar behind his back.
Tom says it was a “stirring rendition” and that his mom was pleased.
As usual, from Jack Black, it was a “tenacious” performance.
