A new study has a lot to say about how we feel about accents. For instance, it claims that:
- Australian accents are the most attractive and New York accents are the least attractive.
- Boston has the most annoying accent. (Think: “From Boston”. Shudder!)
- The actor with the hardest accent to understand is Arnold Schwarzenegger.
- The Midwest accent is the third least sexy.
I beg your pardon! How could they possibly say the Midwest accent isn’t sexy? Are you really going to tell me I am the only person who watch the entire movie Fargo with a boner? They specifically claim that the male Midwest accent isn’t sexy. That’s why we invited our old friend Comic Rob Brakenridge to join us this morning and read some randomly selected passages from romance novels just approve them wrong!
