KAUKAUNA, Wis–A police shooting in Kaukauna last month was justified. Outagamie County District Attorney Melinda Tempelis says no charges will be filed in connection with an incident that resulted in injuries to a 28-year old Oshkosh man.
An Appleton Police Department investigation found that Sergeant Michael Frank was called to a home along the 500-block of Diedrich Street on September 13th on the report that a runaway and another girl from Green Bay may be in a vehicle there. Body camera footage showed the suspect attempted to drive out of a garage toward Frank, who fired one shot, striking the driver.
No charges have been filed against the suspect.
