Someone will eventually die by natural causes. And by ‘natural causes’ we mean by a buffalo (or being boiled like an egg in a hot spring) either way death is coming for you Tourons or Touridiots and this time it’s brown, furry and pissy.
Recent video shot by someone – who had the good sense to stay a safe distance away from wild animals – captured two touridiots getting way too close to a buffalo/bison off a path at Yellowstone. The buffalo/bison makes a move and then their fight or flight response came up as flight and they run knowing they just avoided either death or – at the very least – a painful goring incident.
(AGAIN for the millionth time) Park regulations state that all visitors must remain a minimum of 25 yards from some wildlife, including elk, deer, and bison, and 100 yards from wolves and bears. Failing to adhere to the policy may result in fines and removal from the park.
Okay, first of all… May Result.… seems a little soft as a deterrent to these actions – like when your parents used to threaten you with something you know they weren’t capable of following through on – like leaving you in the middle of nowhere if you didn’t stop what you were doing in the car – it rings just a little hollow. WILL RESULT in a SUBSTANTIAL FINE is better and slap on some MENDATORY JAIL TIME as a capper to the process.
Unless of course you’re killed by your stupidity then forget about the fine and concentrate on the funeral where hopefully your eulogy will be used as a cautionary tale or better yet, motivation for other stupid people do try what killed you – then natural selection (through too glacially-slow for my taste) will have done it’s intended job.
