MANITOWOC, Wis–A pilot is dead following the crash of a small plane in Manitowoc County. The single-engine Lancair 320 was found in a pond along Rockwood Road west of Two Rivers this (Thursday) morning. It had been reported missing on Wednesday.
The sheriff’s office says the male pilot was found dead. The National Transportation Safety Board is looking into the cause of that crash.
