Listen, nothing should take away from the amazing victory that the underdog Green Bay Packers just pulled off at home, under the lights of the most historic stadium in the history of football (America’s version.) They beat the reigning Superbowl champion Kansas City Chiefs 27-19 on the nationally televised Sunday Night Football. The game was awesome and Jordan Love owned Patrick Mahomes in a head-to-head quarterback comparison, but for many the focus was on the stars in the stands. It is strange to think of little old Green Bay, Wisconsin as a destination for celebrities in December, but here we are.
Lil Wayne
He’s a giant Packer fan after growing up in New Orleans and witnessing the Packer’s Super Bowl 31 championship. Weezy ran out with the team earlier this season and on this night he was the narrator for the opening of the broadcast on NBC.

Taylor Swift
Yes, Taylor Watch 2023 ended with the biggest pop star on earth in fact being at Lambeau to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce of the Kanas City Chiefs. It should be noted she came into GB on a private jet just before kick-off and left right after the game. She sat in a suite above the retired Regie White 92. Still saying the should have put her in the bleachers with everyone else.

Tony Shalhoub
The Green Bay native was back home to attend a game and promote his new movie about his most beloved character Adrian Monk. The movie is called “Mr. Monk’s Last Case” and debuts on Peacock this weekend. To be fair NBC basically led the broadcast with him and not the other T.S. Always good to see Tony back home.
Simone Biles
She’s the most decorated gymnast in history with more Olympic gold medals to her name than some Wisconsinites have fingers. She’s also the wife of Green Bay Packer starting safety Jonathan Owens. Unlike Taylor she was in the bowl, bundled up and cheering on the team! Green Bay has grown pretty fond of having her around and it sounds like the feeling is mutual.

Liv Morgan
Liv is the former WWE Women’s champion and is a bonafide superstar in the world of wrestling. She was actually in town all weekend and presented running back Aaron Jones with a WWE Legacy belt which means #33 has a real belt unlike that fake one a former quarterback used to have. Liv was dressed in all the Packer gear and even led the stadium with the traditional sing-a-long of “Roll Out the Barrel”
Sarah Palin
The former governor of Alaska and former Vice Presidential candidate was supporting the Pack with her friend Jamey Flannery whose dad is the legendary off-road racer Jack Flannery from Crandon. WI. That crew even partied at The Kountry Bar in Appleton before heading to Lambeau. Rick wrote more about this here.
You
Come on, no trip to Lambeau is beat by the die-hard Packer fans who go to each and every game, dressed in the craziest of costumes like Saint Vince, the Frozen Tundra Guy or even The Fence Painter. Without these legendary Green Bay characters Green Bay wouldn’t be as cool and Lambeau would just be another stale stadium.
