MANITOWOC, Wis. — The Two Rivers man who reported a boy missing enters a plea of “not guilty” to child neglect charges.
Jesse Vang is charged in Manitowoc County Court with one count of Being Party to Chronic Neglect of a Child.
Vang was taking care of Elijah Vue before his disappearance in February. Vang claims the last time he saw the 3-year-old, he was locked in a bedroom with him.
Vang is accused of making the boy stand in a corner for hours as punishment and only changing his diaper once a day.
Vue’s mother, Katrina Baur, is also awaiting trial on similar charges.
