OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. — One person is dead and six others are hurt following a pair of weekend crashes in Outagamie County.
Around 4:35 p.m. Friday, the sheriff’s office says a car pulled out in front of an SUV at the intersection of State Highway 47 and Highway S in the town of Center.
A 32-year-old from New London riding in the car was flown to a local hospital with critical injuries. The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The 31-year-old Appleton man driving the SUV — along with a woman and an infant — were taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
Then shortly before noon Sunday, a 77-year-old Green Bay man reportedly pulled out in front of an SUV at the intersection of Highway U and the West Frontage Road in the town of Kaukauna.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The 35-year-old Oneida woman driving the SUV was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
No names have been publicly released.
