APPLETON, Wis–One person is in custody following a shooting incident in Appleton’s Erb Park. Police were called to the park around 8:15 Tuesday night on the report of shots fired near the pavilion.
There were no injuries or damage. The suspect, identified as Tyrese Shakir Simmons, was taken into custody shortly after. Criminal charges are pending.
