The 1st wedding chapel inside a liquor store is open for business (and nuptials) in New Orleans.
It’s called Chuck’s Chapel, located inside a liquor store called Chuck’s.
The Chapel features architectural treasures revived from nearby churches including a 150-year-old stained glassed window rescued from the Central Congrega onal Church in 1892, an alter from Basilica of Saint Stephen Church in uptown New Orleans and pews from a Presbyterian church in Luling, Louisiana.
Weddings starts at $500 and the receptions are held in their tasting rooms.
