If pigeons can fly why were they on an airplane?
Two pigeons caused chaos on a Delta flight from Minneapolis to Wisconsin this past Saturday.
Upon boarding the flight the pilot announced to passengers that there was a bird on the plane. further sharing that he, “had no experience with this situation”.
Understandably ‘pigeon control’ isn’t something they teach in pilot school.
Eventually, baggage handlers successfully captured the bird and carried it off the plane.
But WAIT there’s more!
A second pigeon was discovered as the plane began moving down the runway. FUN FACT: pigeons always travel in two’s (not really).
Caw said in a post on social media, “Pilot said when he radioed the control tower about us coming back due to a pigeon, the guy said that was a first for him,”
