BROWNSVILLE, MN — The search for a missing woman from Hortonville ends tragically.
LaCrosse Police announce that 22-year-old Eliotte Heinz was found dead in the Mississippi River this morning. The LaCrosse Police Department was notified by the Houston County Sheriff’s Department that a body was found in the river near Brownsville, Minnesota, about 13-miles from LaCrosse.
LaCrosse Police are continuing to investigate this case and are awaiting for the results of an autopsy.
Heinz was last seen in the early morning hours of July 20.
