After the announcement of Ozzy’s death, all the tributes started pouring in, some from people like you and I, some from Hollywood celebrities, and of course, a bunch from fellow musicians, old and young alike. Most were the normal here’s pictures of us together or a cover of a song, but not Rod Stewart, he has taken this to another level.
With a little help from AI (Artificial Intelligence) the video has Ozzy, with a selfie stick, taking selfies alongside other dead singers including Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Prince, Tina Turner, Bob Marley, 2Pac, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Kurt Cobain, Whitney Houston, and Amy Winehouse.
Thankfully, someone caught it on a camera phone, as is what happens at concerts now.
During his show last week in Charlotte, North Carolina, Stewart commented on the video, saying, “Very sad, a lot of those people died ’cause of drugs. I’m still here, though!”
Well that’s a weird take Rod, but it is true I suppose.
