Original Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos has made and admission… of sorts.
He’s taken 25 years (1977-2002) of admission tickets to Cheap Trick concerts and made them into a tricked out… check that… ticked out drum kit.
Carlos had the craftsmen at Ludwig drums cover a four-piece kit with tickets and he says it’s his “coolest set.”
He’s correct – it’s pretty awesome!
Despite the fact he was replaced (see kicked out) of the band in 2010 for Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen‘s son, Daxx Nielsen, Carlos still continues to release live recordings of the band, dubbed “Bun E’s Basement Bootlegs,” on YouTube. Here’s the latest video, a rehearsal from 1975.
