Yes the rumors are TRUE – the legendary RUSH is going back on tour!
RUSH fans rejoiced at the news that officially dropped today (10.6) that the Canadian power trio will embark on a seven date tour RUSH Fifty Something 2026 spanning the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
These special “evening with” shows will find the band playing two sets each night. Each show will feature a distinct selection of songs and RUSH will build each night’s setlist from a catalogue of 35 songs including their greatest hits and fan favorites.
And the obvious question out of the gate is of course, “Who will be behind the drum kit as the irreplaceable, irreplaceable Neil Peart has passed?”
The answer to that is Anika Nilles.
Lee and Lifeson said they jammed with Nilles and very soon came to a consensus that she put a “charge” into them when they heard their songs coming back to life. Ged said, “And it was only once we had those successful rehearsal sessions with her that made me feel like, ‘Yes, we can do this and we can do justice to this and this is going to be fun.'”
The tour will start on June 7th with the first of two nights at the Forum in Los Angeles, which is where they did their last show in 2015.
It’s then onto:
- 6/18 – Mexico City, MX – Palacio de los Deportes
- 6/24+26 – Fort Worth, TX – Dickies Arena
- 7/16+18 – Chicago, IL – United Center
- 7/28+30 – New York, NY – Madison Square Garden
- 8/7+9 – Toronto, ON – Scotiabank Arena
