GREEN BAY, Wis. — An Appleton man is accused of seriously injuring an elderly man in a hit-and-run crash.
Noah Higgins is charged in Brown County Court with hit and run causing great bodily harm, second-degree reckless injury, reckless driving causing great bodily harm, knowingly driving a vehicle with a suspended license and bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, Higgins drove onto a sidewalk in downtown Green Bay and struck the man before running away on Dec. 20.
The victim suffered multiple broken bones and other injuries.
Higgins faces up to 48 years in prison if convicted.
