We are proud to name as this week’s Laura Lee & Cutter Weenie of the Week, Benjamin Feltz of Wisconsin Rapids who took the Rapids police department on a high speed chase earlier this week, well a high speed chase in an ambulance, with a patient in the back…while naked.
The Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department received a call on Tuesday evening that had Police Chief Daniel Hostens questioning if this was even a real thing. To be fair (to be fair) it’s not often you get a call for a stolen ambulance, an ambulance that was stolen by a naked dude. And then you find you there’s still a patient in the back of the ambulance!
Feltz got into the driver seat of the ambulance after doing some naked push ups near by, yes that’s real, while the two paramedics were in the back assisting the patient. One EMT tried to engage Feltz but he started driving, the other tried to block him and almost got ran over for the trouble. After a high speed chase through the country side of Wisconsin that included the use of tire popping devices, evasive maneuvers, and even drones, the chase concluded in Pittsville where they were finally able to approach the ambulance and remove Feltz without incident.
Here’s the rap sheet
- Disorderly Conduct
- Lewd and Lascivious Behavior
- Operating a Motor Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent
- Obstructing Emergency Personnel
- Recklessly Endangering Safety
- Threats to Law Enforcement
- Operating While Intoxicated – 3rd Offense
So for those keeping score at home that’s one ambulance, one patient and 18 miles of nope, for stealing an ambulance when you know he was standing alongside at some point going helicopter helicopter helicopter, and for finally allowing me to say naked caper on the radio
Oh and for perspective, the only thing worse than running from the police is doing it in a clearly marked emergency vehicle, while naked.
We are proud to name the rapidly repugnant Benjamin Feltz of Wisconsin Rapids as this week’s Laura Lee And cutter … Weenie of the week
