Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers recently got to add teacher to his rock resume.
Smith teamed up with Drumeo to (drum) fill in as a drum teacher for one day at a Long & McQuade music store in Vancouver.
He made up for not being a ‘certified’ teacher with enthusiasm and an infectious groove of praise and encouragement for the students.
If this whole ‘rock drummer’ thing with the Chili Peppers doesn’t work out, Smith can easily put together his own school of rock.
