I Dip You Dip We Dip are the lyrics to the song ‘Da Dip‘ by Freak Nasty. Well there’ll be plenty of dipping at a food stand in Philly as they received a mysterious dip drop ship of 600 tubs of the stuff.
There’s a small food stall in Philadelphia called Mac Mart, where they make macaroni and cheese dishes. Owner, Marti Lieberman says she got a random email a while back from someone offering free food. she said it looked ‘sketchy’ as it was from an overseas address, so she didn’t accept the offer.
But then one day, 600 tubs of French onion dip suddenly showed up at her business (which is just a small six-foot by 11-foot kiosk). The boxes were marked “Heluva Good! French Onion Dip.” You can find these pretty much anywhere. Marti said she contacted customer service they said they had no idea what the delivery was, and said they didn’t send them.
Marti was going to give the dips away to customers, but the company said she should probably throw them in the trash . . . for pretty obvious sanitary / health reasons. So she tossed all 600 tubs Heluva fast and the mystery remains unsolved for now.
