In 1986, Van Halen put out their first album with new lead singer Sammy Hagar, 5150, to great success. Then, later that year, a live video hit shelves showing off just how good this new lineup of Van Halen was live. Live Without a Net showed off the band not just doing Van Halen hits but also Sammy Hagar solo tunes, “There’s Only One Way to Rock” and “I Can’t Drive 55,” plus a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Rock N’ Roll.” 40 years later, they have remastered this snapshot in time and have put it out for free on YouTube. Enjoy a little Van Hagar Live Without a Net.
