A coffee truck broke down on a Texas highway last weekend, stranding workers on the side of the road – it was at that point things got weird.
The owners of Espressoak coffee trailer said a wheel bearing broke while driving to an event. Fortunately no one was hurt, but workers were stranded by the side of the road waiting for help to arrive.
The first tow truck came, but couldn’t quite do the job. Another tow truck showed up and also wasn’t able to do the tow either.
Finally a third one arrived and put the trailer up on the flatbed. Great. But this is where it gets weird.
While they were waiting around, a kangaroo suddenly came out of nowhere and hopped around the highway for about an hour.
It apparently escaped from a nearby home.
Eventually the coffee trailer was towed and the kangaroo was wrangled and brought back to its owner.
Welcome to Texas.
