Metallica will release a massive box set for their 1997 album ReLoad on June 26th. ReLoad was recorded at the same time as Load, but instead of releasing a double album, they waited a year and put out ReLoad as a follow-up to Load.
This limited-edition boxset contains almost 1700 minutes of music on 15 CDs, four DVDs, a double LP of the remastered ReLoad, “The Memory Remains” on a seven-inch single, and Live at Ministry of Sound ’97, a live triple LP.
The CDs have demos and rough mixes, B-sides and rarities, plus a wealth of live material. The DVDs have in-studio and live footage, on-air and television appearances, the band’s pop-up performance at the CoreStates Complex Parking Lot in Philadelphia, a visit to Seoul, South Korea, and more.
ReLoad (Remastered) will also be available on standard and color two-LP sets, CD, a three-CD expanded edition, cassette, and digitally.
Check out the video for “The Memory Remains (Live in Philadelphia).”
