Go to any sporting event and it’s non-stop action on the field/court and even the in-between moments are jam-packed with promos, music and… running mascots – a feast for the senses – ALL of them – sometimes to an overwhelming / overstimulating level.
But recently a minor league baseball team went opposite field with all that… and it was glorious in its minimalism.
The Minor League Louisville Bats held a “Nothing Night” with no music, no videos, and no promotions, and it was cool and quiet – by just letting the sounds (and smells) of the game and the stadium fill the air.
Check out the nostalgic sounds of the ballpark that were captured.
