Protein is all the fitness rage these days so its not surprising that companies are proteinmaxxing existing products. But adding an actual lifeform to that product seems like overkill.
A shopper at a supermarket in Australia brought his groceries home and found that a bag of lettuce he purchased contained a live frog inside.
The frog may have traveled a great distance with the produce, as the lettuce came from a distributor located hundreds of miles away.
The man did not consume the frog, which he named “Greg,” instead he emancipated the frog from the bag and brought it to a nearby dam where it was released — along with the lettuce so he’d feel right at home.
Meanwhile, the supermarket is investigating how the frog got into the bag.
We’re guessing it hopped.
