We are proud to name as this week’s Laura Lee and Cutter Weenie of the Week the unnamed, unlovable person who left a package at the Associated Bank in downtown Green Bay that shut down parts of the streets around the bank as a precaution because of the box’s unknown contents. This happened on 9-11 of all days and it only took a few hours to find there was nothing hazardous in the box, but what they did find was a tersely written letter and a tattered U.S. Flag.
The letter read:
Mr. Harmening: Is “this” what you branch in Hales Corners represents?? Needless to say, this flag didn’t obtain this status in a day or two, in a week or two or in a month or two. I am ashamed that I, as an “OLD” had to take the responsibility of “retiring” “OLD GLORY”!!! I hope that you have a “come to Jesus meeting” with your branch manager. There is “absolutely” no need for this to happen—ever. If I noticed this problem, I am sure that thousands of drivers who have passed by over the months couldn’t help but notice this flag deteriorating. “GREAT” form of advertising????
Might I suggest that you purchase two flags and keep one as a spare so that it may be replaced at the “first” sign wear. Maybe assign one individual and make them responsible for the care and maintenance.
So you shut down a downtown street because you didn’t like the shape the flag was in at a bank in Hales Corner? You wasted a tree for that? Like appreciate the patriotism, but dude, come on.
So for…. The package being suspicious on the outside but surprisingly patriotic on the inside
So for being a little less “mission impossible” and more “what’s in the boxxxxxxxxx?”
And for.. next time maybe just heading to google and leaving a review
We are again proud to name the inconceivable, insolent imbecile from what we assume is Hales Corner, as this week’s Laura Lee and Cutter Weenie of the Week.
