Six kids and one adult were injured and sent to the hospital over the weekend after a camel broke loose at a circus in Pittsburgh.
The children were reportedly riding on the back of the camel when the animal suddenly got spooked and broke free of its handler. The kids were bucked off and thrown to the ground. The scary scene occurred during intermission of the Shrine Circus when kids were allowed to take camel rides.
Handlers were able to corral the animal after several seconds. The most serious injury to the kids was a broken arm.
