No, you can’t bring your own dead animals to get grilled up at McDonald’s.
At a San Francisco McDonald’s location, a man brought the bloody carcass of a dead raccoon into the restaurant and placed it on a table.
“This motherf—er put the raccoon on the table!” one witness said in video taken at the scene. The video appears to show an older man with white hair sitting next to the raccoon. An employee pointed toward the man, who then left the table and walked around the store, seemingly talking to people, leaving the roadkill behind.
San Francisco police officers responded to the scene, but the raccoon owner didn’t meet the criteria to be taken into custody for mental health detention, and was released at the scene.
The San Francisco Department of Health cleared the restaurant to reopen three days later.
