Koehler then got into another car and drove back to the accident scene. When a sheriff’s deputy arrived, and told the man he would be arrested, authorities say Koehler attempted to grab an open bottle of liquor from the vehicle and take a drink from it.
It is unclear if Koehler thought he was already screwed so why not take another drink or did so because he was trying to queer the results of a possible breathalyzer test.
