WAPL’s Len Nelson will be onstage with STEEM, an all-star band of truly exceptional Fox Valley musicians performing in concert Saturday, April 27th at the Grand Opera House in Oshkosh.
Part of the proceeds from the show will be donated to The Center for Suicide Awareness to assist in the fight to reduce the number of suicides among military veterans. The Veterans Administration says about 20 vets commit suicide every day and that statistic has remained mostly unchanged since the 1970s. That’s simply unacceptable because we owe these men and women more than to let them fend for themselves as they deal with mental and physical health issues which are often a lingering legacy of their time serving active duty.
STEEM will perform some really tasty tunes from Chicago, Van Morrison, Paul McCartney, Steely Dan, CSN, Elton John, Stevie Wonder and even a groovy song by The Young Rascals which feature’s Len on his accordion! Salsa Manzana opens the show with super fun Latin rhythms.
