As “Game of Thrones” comes to a close this Sunday, Fender is making sure that not only The North remembers. The guitar maker has released the Game of Thrones™ Sigil Collection featuring House-themed instruments for Stark, Lannister and Targaryen. To help promote the new line, Fender brought in some of the best guitar players in the business to try them out: Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, Scott Ian of Anthrax and country music star Brad Paisley. Even “Game of Thrones” creator and showrunner Dan Weiss – a guitar player himself – joined the group as well as the show’s composer Ramin Djawadi. Together they made magic with a rocked-out version of the “Game of Thrones” theme.
