Tuesday, John and Elwood reported on Limestone County, Alabama resident Mickey Paulk, who is wanted by the police on several warrants including possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia. When deputies went to arrest him on Monday, they didn’t find Paulk, but they did find a squirrel that Paulk was allegedly feeding meth to make it more aggressive as an “attack squirrel.” The squirrel was released into the wild by authorities.
Well, Mickey denies giving the squirrel any meth and that it’s an “attack squirrel.” We know this because Mickey posted a video to Facebook saying as much. Oh, and he’s got his squirrel back.
At least he claims it’s his squirrel. It’s also possible that he has a second squirrel.
Deputies say that Paulk could also face charges with Alabama Game & Fish for keeping a wild animal as a pet.
Plus, Paulk’s Facebook handle is “Dirtykracker,” so there’s that.
