San Diego Comic-Con saw the release of TONS of new trailers for upcoming movies and television series that have us very excited.
First up, it’s the return of the USS Enterprise’s best captain* in the CBS All Access series, Star Trek: Picard.
*Don’t be mad. Kirk is still our favorite.
Next up it’s the highly anticipated HBO series Watchmen, based on the classic graphic novel by Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons, and John Higgins. This one looks like it’s set years after the events of the comic (and the mixed-reception film).
Speaking of HBO, they’ve also released the trailer for their third season of Westworld.
I swore I was done with this show after a confusing second season, but dammit if this trailer doesn’t have me intrigued again.
Also from HBO, the fantasy series His Dark Materials, based on the book series.
Here’s a featurette on Terminator: Dark Fate, in which star Linda Hamilton says of how much action we can expect: “holy shit, holy shit, holy shit.”
And if your nostalgia isn’t ramped up enough for that one, how about Tom Cruise’s return to the air in Top Gun: Maverick.
Oh yeah… we almost forgot. Rick Grimes is back in the as-yet-untitled Walking Dead movie. Here’s the teaser.
