Ronda Rousey Badly Injures Fingers Filming TV Show [VIDEO] [GRAPHIC]

Former MMA and WWE champion Ronda Rousey, seriously injured two of her fingers while filming a scene for the FOX series 9-1-1.

According to TMZ, Rousey accidentally slammed a boat door on her hand, fracturing the tip of her ring finger and nearly severing a tendon in her middle finger.

Rousey is such a badass that she finished filming the scene before letting anyone know she’d been injured. She said, “I’m used to live audiences and never showing pain unless I’m supposed to.” Following the procedure to reattach her bone and tendon, she also returned to set the next day to finish filming her scenes before heading home to recuperate.

So the word is out I nearly lost my finger shooting @911onfox. Freak accident, first take of the day a boat door fell on my hand, I thought I just jammed my fingers so I finished the take before looking (I know it sounds crazy, but I’m used to live audiences and never showing pain unless I’m supposed to) after a break in the action I told our director the situation and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital where they promptly reattached my bone and tendon with a plate and screws. I returned to filming the next day and finished my scenes before returning home to recover. Modern medicine amazes me, I already had 50% range of motion back in 3 days. Rousey has been on a self-described “impregnation vacation” from the WWE. No word on whether this injury could have any effect on a future return to the ring.
