A Sturgeon Bay man is helping cancer survivors after he also beat the disease.
Danny Thimm had stage four metastatic cancer. He’s now in remission. He says he must be here for a reason so he wants to give back.
Thimm is raffling off guitars and giving the money to a non-profit called Door Cancer. The organization helps patients pay their living expenses while they’re getting treatment.
Thimm says the fundraisers have been great so far and he hopes to make a difference in the community.
