Some homeowners are moving away from the East River in Green Bay because of flooding problems.
Linda Janus has lived on Cass Street for 48 years and she doesn’t plan on leaving. But she says she usually gets water in her basement when it rains. She says they usually have to move everything up into the attic when it rains.
Alderman Bill Gavin is noticing more “For Sale” signs popping up along the river. He says the city is looking at different options to solve the issue. But he thinks it could take a while to find a permanent solution.
