A local chef is going to be on national TV Thursday morning for a cooking contest in connection with the Packers’ season opener at the Chicago Bears.
Ace Champion was invited onto NBC’s “Today” show to square off against a Food Network chef from Chicago. Champion will be making his grilled cheese mac and cheese sandwich and some side dishes.
Champion says producers from the “Today” show reached out after seeing his website. He’s leaving for New York City today. He thinks he’ll be on the show between 8:00 and 9:00 tomorrow morning.
