As far as Guns n’ Roses rumors go, this one makes a lot of sense…
According to a post on the GnR forum site GNRevolution, we could be getting a new song from the band as part of the Terminator: Dark Fate soundtrack.
“A source who was working On Terminator dark fate has informed that 4 members of guns n roses went to a private viewing of a rough copy of the upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger sequel movie to see if they want to put a song on the soundtrack. Apparently, Slash was at axls house to record overdubs on a song for the rush release. At this point the song name is unknown.”
Is it true? Will we get the first new Guns n’ Roses song to feature Axl, Slash, and Duff in 15 years?
Maybe.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is a big Guns n’ Roses fan and friend of the band. He requested “You Could Be Mine” for the Terminator 2: Judgement Day soundtrack back in 1991, just before the release of their Use Your Illusion albums.
Then again, it’s always best to take any GnR rumor with a massive grain of salt. We’ll find out for sure when Terminator: Dark Fate hits theaters November 1.
