There will be two new prosecutors in Outagamie and Winnebago counties.
Governor Evers stopped in Green Bay today to announce how he’s distributing 60 positions that are included in the state budget.
Outagamie County District Attorney Melinda Tempelis was on Fresh Take with Josh Dukelow on WHBY this morning. She says right now, they have nine of them, and some of them have 150 to 250 pending cases. She says that doesn’t count new referrals.
Brown County is getting three prosecutors, and Fond du Lac County can add two.
